Dell and Symantec on Email SecurityDell will integrate Symantec’s security software software Email Management Services (EMS) as their service portfolio.
This software will increase the limit of email encryption, blocking spam and inappropriate content, system management tools for administrators to check the load and workflow management systems as well as screening for viruses using heuristics and signature-based approach.
“As a team of Dell and Symantec to support e-mail security, continuity and archiving services, new customers and existing ones can benefit from high protection,” said Mark Bilger, vice president of Product Services Group at Dell.
“By combining the individual strengths and expertise of Dell and Symantec Hosted, we are excited to bring customers and channel partners best-of-breed portfolio to industry-leading,” he added
Dell officially bought on Boomi last week, shows that the company saw a serious investment in Saas offerings.
